background: ZNF169 belongs to the krueppel C2H2 type zinc finger protein family. It may be involved in transcriptional regulation. It is highly expressed in kidney, weakly expressed in heart, liver, spleen, and small intestine. Not expressed in adult brain or spinal cord. ZNF169 contains thirteen C2H2 type zinc fingers and one KRAB domain. Function: May be involved in transcriptional regulation. Subcellular Location: Nucleus. Tissue Specificity: Highly expressed in kidney, weakly expressed in heart, liver, spleen, and small intestine. Not expressed in adult brain or spinal cord. Similarity: Belongs to the krueppel C2H2-type zinc-finger protein family. Contains 13 C2H2-type zinc fingers. Contains 1 KRAB domain.
