When reconstituted in sterile pH 7.4 0.01M PBS or diluent of antibody the antibody is stable for at least two weeks at 2-4 °C. |

background: Peptidyl-prolyl cis-trans isomerase (PPIL1) is a member of the cyclophilin family of peptidylprolyl isomerases (PPIases). The cyclophilins are a highly conserved, ubiquitous family, members of which play an important role in protein folding, immunosuppression by cyclosporin A, and infection of HIV1 virions. Based on similarity to other PPIases, this protein could accelerate the folding of proteins and might catalyze the cis-trans isomerization of proline imidic peptide bonds in oligopeptides. Function: PPIases accelerate the folding of proteins. It catalyzes the cis-trans isomerization of proline imidic peptide bonds in oligopeptides. May be involved in pre-mRNA splicing. Subunit: Identified in the spliceosome C complex. Interacts with SNW1. Tissue Specificity: Ubiquitous, with the most abundant expression in heart and skeletal muscle. Similarity: Belongs to the cyclophilin-type PPIase family. PPIL1 subfamily. Contains 1 PPIase cyclophilin-type domain.
